Our Services

e-PharmPro links up to your hospital’s pharmacy operating system, phone lines, and fax lines to provide an effortless transition from your daytime pharmacy practice. We provide your hospital with a dedicated team of pharmacists who are credentialed on your policies and procedures. We strive to be an extension of your pharmacy department and work to build relationships with your nursing and pharmacy staff.

How e-PharmPro Serves You (if your pharmacy is not open 24 hours):

  • Your on-site pharmacy closes, and e-PharmPro after-hour pharmacy coverage begins
  • Orders are sent to your dedicated e-PharmPro pharmacists for order entry and verification
  • Pharmacist will provide clinical intervention and clarification
  • Pharmacist verifies order and notifies the nurse that the order is available
  • A shift report is sent to pharmacy detailing the night’s activities as well as any issues that may require a follow up

e-PharmPro also can work with medical facilities that are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We offer remote secondary support during peak hours and can even work alongside on-site shifts.

Team Model

Our pharmacists work from a credentialed home office, and must have 5+ hears of hospital experience.  Having pharmacists work from home allows us to be selective during recruitment.  All pharmacists working with your facility will be licensed in your hospital’s state.

Pharmacists will be credentialed annually on:

  • General hospital pharmacy competencies
  • Hospital policies and procedures
  • Hospital’s pharmacy systems
  • e-PharmPro focus area

Pharmacists work on a secure virtual private network (VPN) and are part of a virtual pharmacy community.  This community gives the pharmacist the ability to interact with other e-PharmPro pharmacists, utilize clinical tools and references, and link up to the hospital’s information system.

    • e-PharmPro is dedicated to a continual process improvement cycle. As part of our Process Improvement Initiative, we ask all hospitals to provide us with variance reports on a daily basis. We use the information from these reports as educational tools for our pharmacists.
